We will go snowshoeing from the place called Vasserode (after col de la Faucille) to La Dôle

Hike description

5km each way, 400m elevation gain (1250-1650), probably 4h total.

We are approaching the end of the snow season. It is uncertain what the snow conditions will be like. We will probably walk a portion without the snowshoes.

Note: We have never done this walk ourselves, we may not be able to finish it.

Equipment:
Snowshoes (raquettes) and poles. (Tor can lend one pair of snowshoes, for women’s shoes)
A strap/elastic to fasten the snowshoes onto your rucksack.
Good waterproof hiking shoes (that fit your snowshoes)
Warm clothes. We are going to the highest peak in the region, so it can be very cold.
Picnic
Enough water for the journey (2 l.)
