Sentier Toblerones

Sunday, October 25

Due to the evolution of the pandemic, and the new measures imposed by the authorities, our Sunday outing has been changed.

We will not travel together to Nyon, but meet there.
*The new RDV will be the Nyon railway station 09:45 (platform 21/22). *

We will do the walking in 2 groups to respect the rule of 5 peoples together.

The “Sentier des Toblerones” is a military defense line, constructed during WW2, going from the Juras, and down to the lake. This is a very nice walk.

We will take the train to Bassins, and walk down along the Toblerones, towards the lake, at Gland. We will then walk along the lake to Prangins.

Distance: approximately 15km, 4 hours. The walk is mainly downhill, but with some up-and-down. 520m down, 180m up.
