Welcome to an easy afterwork walk, from Geneva, following the Rhone, down to Lignon with a group of singles & nature lovers – 35 up 60 yo.
The walk is around 9km, we expect to take slightly over two hours, so we should arrive just as the sun goes down. There will be 2-3 slopes between the level of the river, and the plateau surrounding it. But mostly it will be flat.
After a drink at the Lignon (optional), we’ll take the bus back to Geneva. Remember to bring a mask for the bus.
Take good walking shoes, but mountain boots are not necessary. Some water is also recommended.
Meeting place: Front of Cornavin Railway station, on the corner closest to the tram 14/18 stop. (In front of Burger King)
